The WinWedge® Pro RS232 data acquisition software, from TAL
Technologies, now includes five additional applications free.
WinWedge is an easy to use data collection program designed for
interfacing RS232 devices such as data collection equipment, laboratory
instruments, quality and process control instruments, scales, calipers,
micrometers, flow meters, temperature sensors, bar code scanners,
GPS receivers, and other serial output devices, to any Windows application.
WinWedge inputs real-time serial data directly into Excel, Access,
LIMS, MMIs, statistical software or any other Windows software.

Use WinWedge to perform real-time analysis, charting, and graphing of
your serial data in your PC applications. Different instruments can simultaneously
send data to different applications or to different "fields"
within the same application.
WinWedge 32 Pro now includes five powerful applications to solve even
more data collection and communication problems. These are:
- TCP-Wedge. This software
collects data from, and sends data to, TCP/IP ports from any Windows
application, Excel, Access, etc. It has the same advanced data parsing,
filtering and formatting features as WinWedge except communication is
over TCP/IP networks instead of serial ports.
- FILE-Wedge. This feeds data
directly from any ASCII file into any Windows application. It also has
advanced features to parse, filter and format the file data before inputting
it into your application.
- TCP-Com*. This useful software
converts RS232 to TCP/IP and TCP/IP to RS232. Use it on up to 16 RS232
ports simultaneously.
- TCP-File*. This application
logs TCP/IP data to file.
- COM-File*. This logs serial
(RS232) data to file.
