WinWedge Pro

WinWedge Pro is designed to collect data from, and control, any serial device, no matter how complex the serial output or how sophisticated the control required. Use it with industrial and laboratory instruments, quality and process control devices, PBX systems, PLCs, etc..

Expanded DDE support allows other applications to completely control WinWedge and all serial I/O. This lets you create extremely powerful data acquisition and device control interfaces from within any Windows application that supports DDE (i.e. Excel, Lotus, Access, Wonderware, Intellution, etc.).

This is a full 32 bit version for all versions of Windows. It supports up to 100 com ports, and all 32 bit Windows features, such as long file names, and it is 30% faster.

WinWedge 32 Pro also includes TCP-Wedge™ and File-Wedge™ FREE. TCP-Wedge lets you communicate with any TCP/IP network port address (ethernet/Internet) from any Windows application. It is just like WinWedge Pro but for TCP/IP communications instead of serial I/O. File-Wedge lets you input data from ASCII files into any Windows application.

WinWedge Standard Edition

The standard edition is designed to work with simple devices, such as bar code readers, electronic scales, calipers and gages, or any other device that transmits simple text data - either single field data or comma delimited data. It supports basic prompting and control of serial devices, selectable input buffer size (up to 32K), date and time stamps, and baud rates up to 19,200 baud.

DOSWedge Standard and DOSWedge Pro

DOS versions of Taltech's data collection software are also available. DOSWedge and DOSWedge Pro are tiny TSR (Terminate Stay Resident) applications that run in the background and send real-time RS232 data to the foreground application (any DOS program) as if it were being typed in. DOSWedge Standard is for very simple devices such as bar code scanners, gauges, scales and balances. DOSWedge Pro offers much more sophisticated data parsing, filtering and formatting and device control to work with any serial device. These DOS versions have been in use for many years and are completely reliable. They are compatible with any version of DOS (2.x or later) and will work on any PC including an XT! They are 5K and 10K TSRs respectively.

BC-Wedge

BC-Wedge is a highly simplified Software Wedge product designed for data collection from RS232 Bar Code Scanners only. It collects bar code data from scanners connected to COM1 to COM4 directly into any Windows or DOS application program. Note: BC-Wedge does not contain any of the advanced features of either the Standard or the Professional Edition of WinWedge.

CE-Wedge

CE-Wedge is an easy to use Software Wedge for Windows CE similar to our WinWedge or BC-Wedge products for Windows. It collects data from simple serial devices directly into any Windows CE application program including Pocket Excel, Pocket Word, etc..
