Internet Explorer 5.5 Issues

Background:
When using the TAL Bar Code ActiveX control as a client side tool in IE 5.5, when you print a document containing a bar code, the bar code appears incorrectly and most scanners will have trouble reading the bar code. The problem is due to a bug in Internet Explorer version 5.5.

Solution:
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem with IE 5.5 and they have come up with a bug fix for the problem. The bug fix will be included in IE5.5 Service Pack 2 and all future releases of Internet Explorer. At the time of this writing Service Pack 2 has not yet been released, however you can check by visiting microsoft's downloads page and searching for updates to IE.
