"We used this software for data collection on an evaluation of some equipment we are purchasing (a 'factory acceptance test'). It was easy for our electronic tech to set up the collection program, and to interface with the PLC. The results were great! We were able to see variations we would not have been aware of otherwise. We were able to point out performance deficiencies in detail. Transient disturbances, which cannot be tolerated with this equipment, could easily be seen and documented. By the fact that the data was in Excel, we could easily create X-bar and R charts, and compare to our specs."
